Welcome to RoboForm®. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our software, services, and website (“Services”). By accessing or using RoboForm, you agree to these terms. Please read carefully.
1. Acceptance & Eligibility
By using RoboForm (apps, extensions, or website), you confirm that you’re at least 18 and can form a binding agreement. If you're using RoboForm on behalf of an organization, you confirm it has authority to bind the organization to these terms.
2. License & Ownership
We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use RoboForm per your subscription plan or lifetime license. All software, branding, and documentation remain our property. Reverse engineering is prohibited.
3. User Responsibilities
- Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials and master password.
- Comply with all laws when using RoboForm.
- Keep backups of your password vault — we’re not responsible for data loss.
4. Payment & Renewal
Subscription fees are due in advance. Unless canceled before renewal, your subscription auto-renews at the then-current rate. You may cancel via your account dashboard, but no refunds are given for partial periods — see our Return Policy.
5. Privacy & Data Security
Your vault is encrypted with AES-256-bit encryption and can only be decrypted on your devices. We never access your master password or decrypted vault data — see our Privacy Policy for more.
6. Support & Updates
We offer support and updates as part of your license. Updates may be automatic; disabling updates may reduce functionality.
7. Warranty Disclaimer
We provide RoboForm “as is” without warranties. To the extent allowed by law, we disclaim implied warranties of fitness, accuracy, or merchantability.
8. Limitation of Liability
Our liability is limited. We’re not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Our aggregate liability is capped at your total payment for RoboForm services in the prior year.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RoboForm and its affiliates from any claims or damages arising out of your use of RoboForm or violation of these terms.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access for breach of terms. Upon termination, your license ends, and you must delete all copies of RoboForm software. Rights that survive include intellectual property, payment obligations, and liability provisions.
11. Modifications
We may update these Terms & Conditions. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance. We notify by posting changes on our site.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where RoboForm operates. Disputes must be resolved in your local courts (or agreed upon alternative dispute resolution).
